I use a wide range of illustration techniques including vector, hyper-realistic photo manipulations, and digital paintings that emulate watercolor, gouache, pastels and mixed media.
As our high-tech world becomes more sleek and sterile, it's no surprise to me that the handmade processes I love so dearly are at the forefront of design and production trends. The result?: humanistic aesthetics, authentic communication, and highly tactile printed objects that are both fun to create and to experience.
Innovative and effective uses of finishing techniques can accentuate the haptic qualities of printed media. I look for inventive solutions that consider the medium's limitations, as well as the project's budget constraints.
